Professional Development FAQ
New Member Orientation
How Do I Complete New Member Orientation?
Orientation is held via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All new agents must complete New Member Orientation within 60 days of their join date. If you don’t attend within this window, your membership will be inactivated.
Why Must I Attend?
Attending New Member Orientation is essential for understanding your professional trade organization and discovering the many ways it can support your business. Orientation covers the numerous benefits, educational programs, and resources available to members. The networking opportunities and business-building activities at orientation and other Association events are invaluable and make the cost of your annual membership worthwhile.
Statistics show that early engagement leads to greater knowledge and understanding of the industry, its practices, and the critical rules and regulations that govern your activities as a real estate professional. This results in fewer TREC and MLS complaints and promotes a more professional and ethical practice.
